This Cookie Policy describes browser storage and cookies associated with WattFigure.

Calculator session storage

The public calculator uses browser sessionStorage, not a persistent tracking cookie, to keep the current appliance worksheet through page refreshes. The stored values remain on the device and are cleared when the browser session closes, subject to browser behavior. They are not submitted by the calculator to WattFigure.

Essential cookies

The Laravel application and protected administration area may use essential cookies for session state, security, and cross-site request forgery protection. These cookies support requested site functions and are not used by WattFigure to build an advertising profile.

Analytics and advertising

No third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, or live advertising code is currently configured on the public site. If those services are added, this page and the Privacy Policy must be updated before activation, and appropriate notice or consent controls will be implemented where required.

If Google AdSense is enabled later, Google and advertising partners may use cookies to serve, personalize, and measure ads as permitted. Google historically referred to an advertising identifier as the DoubleClick DART cookie. Information and controls are available through Google's advertising technologies policy and Google Ads Settings. No such advertising cookie is currently configured by WattFigure.

Controls

Browser settings can inspect, block, or clear cookies and site storage. Blocking essential cookies may prevent protected or stateful functions from working. Closing the browser session clears the calculator worksheet. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
